SATURDAY
Today is historic. Howard has spent his final night in a tent.
Watching him pack up for the last time got everyone thinking about how much more fun this would be if you spent the night in motels. By a unanimous vote it was decided that Howard had a fantastic idea.
Here is something to keep you occupied on the bus ride home. People should be members of this group, not the ride as a whole.
The Motel Owners Association of America are today's sponsor
- Who rode the most RAW’s? Not Gordon!
- Who’s eyes sparkled the most at Soap Lake when Ed said he had a bottle of whiskey?
- Who had the smallest tent?
- Who had the largest air mattress?
- Fastest descender?
- Tubeless _______________?
- The best watermelon comes from?
- In 2011 Cascade introduced what store bought sandwich?
As Howard would say, “ride on dudes”.
The epilogue will be published tomorrow.
Most RAWS – Ken maybe. I might be next, or maybe Greg.
Smiled at Ed’s Whiskey – Cyndi from Canada (Ed – “hey you girls, get over here….”
Smallest Tent – Hmmm, maybe Ken again. I remember someone had a teeny tiny one.
Fastest Descender – Terri (haha, just kidding). Howard, Ken, Ed, Mike???
Best Watermelon – Hermiston (or Washtucna – that was just a shout out to Dan Hershman)
Biggest air mattress – I remember being really jealous of that air mattress. But whose was it…..And now I am thinking maybe Greg had the smallest tent.)
Most RAWs: Gordon and I were tied until I opted out of the Olympic Peninsula ride. Later Gordon missed a couple that likely put me in 1st place for a while at least.
As for the largest air mattress, mine did get a few mentions. It made the tent look small.
